Art & Sip was founded in 2019 by James Mackenzie, a professional artist, and an experienced, qualified art teacher. 

 

James’ love for acrylic painting led to creating workshops that are relaxed, welcome beginners are broken down into easy-to-follow steps and encourage all to create in a way that comes naturally so their individual style emerges, rather than just copying.    By the end of the class everyone has their own unique painting to be take home.   

 

Over the years James has recruited a team of skilled tutors and as well as acrylic painting he now offers workshops in candle making, lino printing, pottery, paper craft and floristry.

 

Art & Sip events take place twice a month in Little Waltham, Chelmsford on a Wednesday evening (16+) and Saturday afternoon where we welcome children (8+) to join us.
