My Vision

Founded in 2019 by professional artist and qualified art teacher James Mackenzie. Art & Sip began as a way to share a love for acrylic painting in a fun, relaxed setting. James’ passion for creative expression inspired workshops designed especially for beginners but also including seasoned artists,  breaking down techniques into simple steps while encouraging personal style over perfection.

As interest grew, so did the team,  Art & Sip now brings together a trusted group of tutors offering a wide range of creative experiences from acrylic painting,  candle making to watercolours, art courses, and seasonal wreath workshops. You’ll find us in Little Waltham, Chelmsford City, Billericay, and Burnham-on-Crouch.

While James has recently stepped back to focus on commissions and his art consultancy work, the Art & Sip team continues to deliver inspiring, community-driven events.
